How Good We Got It?

Well my friends and we meet again on another P-day. The time is going by so so fast that it is difficult to believe. We are working hard and we know that the Lord helps us work harder than we can on our own.

This week was a great one and we found a lot of people to teach. We know that the Lord asks our best and gives us challenges everyday. WE see that the investigators have needs and we need to show how the gospel can meet their personal needs.

This week we met two people that have some pretty heavy addictions. Jairo and Eduardo.

Jairo is a friend of a member, and he is a very heavy drinker. We met him a few weeks ago and he was working so hard that we couldn’t talk to him. This week we got to talk to him and his wife. They are so awesome, the first time he was alright, he hadn’t drank for the day, and he wants to stop. We had a very spiritual lesson where we testified of the BoM and how it will help his life and if he reads he will be able to avoid the temptations that come. The next time we got there and he was knocked out. We were very saddened and we had a great lesson about the Savior with his wife Celia. She was saddened to tears. We bore powerful testimony about the Atonement.

Eduardo is a young guy 25 and he has problems with cigarets. He is a great guy just with a lot of difficulties. His mom is supper worried about him. We also got to help him come to church and we are helping him choose the right. He is a great guy but with some bad friendships.

We are very fortunate for what we have.

We know that our friendships and the choices we make will change us for the good and for the bad. A great choice that you could do is go to General Conference. What a better place to learn of the will of God.

I hope you all had a great Easter.

I love you all.

Baptism from Heaven

Well the time is flying by so fast that I can believe it, I think that it isn’t fair. But here is another P-day. This week was an incredible one. We got to help two people do convenience with the Lord.

The first is Gabriel. He is Lucas''s brother and he is awesome. Ever since the first time we talked to him we could tell that he is special. He loves reading the BoM. He got a testimony and stopped drinking coffee from the moment that he found out that God doesn't want him to, and choose his brother to baptize him. The baptism was very special. Lucas was a little nervous seeing that last week he received the Aaronic Priesthood. Bishop helped him know how to baptise and then they got into the water. And it was smooth sailing. After a big bear hug and the spirit.

Gabriel was baptized by his brother Lucas, it was way awesome.

The Gospel is true. God has a plan and we can see that in all the people that we talk to. (even those that don’t accept the gospel for right now)

We also got to baptize Julia.(the picture you can see a young lady there in white in the middle of all the people) She has been going to church for 4 months. She goes to another church because it is closer. But seeing as though she lives in our area, we baptized her, and we will confirm her in our ward. We are very blessed to know her. She is a huge example to us. She has 100% certainty of what she wants to do.

The church is true. Keep up the work. Do your Home teaching visits. And read the scriptures. :)

A week at the Resturant

This was an unusual  week, we spent Monday through Saturday eating out in restaurants. Many members gavels money to have our lunch out.  We ate in the restaurant on two investigators, Jonaldo and Elaine.  Elaine doesn't like her picture taken.

Lesson Night

We taught a lesson to a less active family. It was a fun exercise to balance a Book of Mormon on three knives.  Everyone had fun with the activity.
