"The Chosen Few!"

Thanks Jen Rhees!  This is Awesome!

Jace has been so blessed to have 5 of Best Friends.  They have been through a lot together and are now experiencing mission life together.  They are serving all over the world and they are all valiant servants with strong spirits.  I am proud of all of them and think of them all as my own.

Below is a portion of  Elder Neilsen's email.  It shows what a great support these boys have been to one another.

Goals for a NEW YEAR!

Did I say that we have the APs in our area with us now?  At first I was like crap they will come in baptize someone, then make us look bad. But I realized that that isn't what this work is about. They are giving me some great ideas that I will use for my entire mission :) So they are awesome and we are becoming good, good friends. We eat lunch together, and we go to FHE with members together most of the time, but we work with different people :)

This is Elder Sales, he is from Espiirito Santo, that translates Holy Ghost :) - yes that is a state here in Brazil. It is funny but true. He is one of the APs he is a great guy and we were teaching a family in our ward about the family mission plan for the year 2015.

This is a family in our ward, the Freitas. They are great, they have four kids 18, 16, 11, and 5 the two oldest are girls and one of them is in Utah with some friends right now. But we started to do a project with the members, the Family Mission Plan for the Year 2015. Every member of the family sets goals, and then we help them achieve family goals to bring more people to the church :)

Freitas Family with Elder Contigiacomo, Jacobson, Sales, and Iverson

Don't forget the start of the new year is a time to make goals, don't make goals that you won’t keep, make a goal that will push you.  Make goals:
    1 Physically
    2 Spiritually

3 Missionary -make some goals missionary, and share the gospel, this is bold but think about it :)

"The gospel is either 100% true or not, let us make up our minds if we want to go all in, or if we don't want our friends to have eternal happiness with us."

Interview in Vila Sonia

These kids are awesome.  They live in Vila Sonia and the Sisters had an interview and because Elder Jacboson is the DL he gave the interview. So we went to the house, the youngin (8 years old) Estefano had a soccer ball, and so clearly I was like, lets ball youngin :) haha Then the dog jumped up on me and I was like WOW, so we danced and it was funny :) haha and the baby is just a kid that the sisters loved so they took a lot of pictures!

Investigators

The family that you see there is a picture of Manuel and Cida and Joel and Samuel, that are awesome.  Not real interested in our message yet. I got their names and will add them on FB in like 2 years ;)

Divisão with Elder Taylor

The week was good, I had a Divisão with Elder Taylor. We had a great day; we went to a part of the area really far south and we knocked doors and then we found a new investigator. She was really excited to hear our message, but like everyone here she will travel until the new year. Literally we have a list of more than 20 people that we will pass this week because the all sad that the holidays are difficult.

So this week will hopefully be a good one. We are planning on finding a lot of new people, and the people that said we could come by in the new year will be awesome. :)

"On the Streets Where I Live"

We found a US mailbox :)

The street signs are awesome, and I want to buy a sign with the guy playing soccer :)

The street sign is funny because I am sure you reconize one name, but the other name trazlates. Fighters of the Geuto. :) haha I thought that was funny because it is a super rich street :()

The giant house is what about half of our area looks like. I just did that as a joke, and they shut us down. It was all good, don't have fear :)

We were laughing because it looks like the jungle, but really it is just a huge house, that has walls huge, and the little tree in the jungle, So that is our jungle :) haha

Then we have the park that is close to our house. There is always a bunch of youngins playing soccer :) haha
